Candy B. Olson joined Hanson Lulic & Krall, LLC in 2001 and is a Senior Associate. Prior to joining the firm, Candy was a law clerk in the Tenth Judicial District for the Honorable Nancy J. Logering. She has experience with products liability, arson, fraud, property and construction law cases, as well as experience in complex insurance coverage issues and conducting examinations under oath.
Candy has practiced in state and federal court, both at the trial and appellate court levels. She was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 2000, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota in 2002 and the United State Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in 2003.
In 1995, Candy received her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. She is a 2000 graduate of the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in Huntington, New York where she was the Associate Editor of the Moot Court Board.
Candy currently serves as the Chair for The Hennepin Lawyer Committee. She is also a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers, Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute.
In addition to her commitments to these professional associations, Candy has written various articles, including an article on mold coverage, and has presented several continuing legal education courses and seminars on the topics of insurance coverage and ethics.
