JON A. HANSON
Jon Hanson was a co-founder of this firm in 1986. Jon received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska in 1972.

Jon’s longevity in the legal field has provided a broad variety of experience including property and casualty losses, subrogation, arson and other fraud defenses, products liability and first party insurance coverage defense. He has successfully tried to verdict many complex and multi-party cases. Jon regularly handles cases which are document-intensive. Jon has completed all 90 hours of the fire/arson investigation course taught by Hennepin Technical Centers. He frequently speaks for clients on industry specific topics and regional organizations regarding defense and subrogation related seminars.

Jon is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar, Wisconsin State Bar, Nebraska State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Nebraska. He is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Wisconsin State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association and the Minnesota Chapter of International Association of Arson Investigators.
